Job
Summary:
Quality assurance inspectors audit purchased and manufactured products, both in-process and final, to ensure they meet all standards of workmanship, dimensional quality and traceability.
Functions:
The full inspection process, including:
First article, in process, Receiving and Final inspections Knowledgeable in SPC, as well as Gage R&R preferred, not required Knowledge of AS 9100, ISO 9001 documentation preferred, not required
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent with working experience in a tight tolerance machining environment preferred.
Knowledge and the proper application of dimensional measurement tools such as micrometers, height gages, and optical comparators are required.
Capable of interpreting dimensional prints and knowledge of GD&T.
Previous working experience with contact and non-contact metrology equipment is preferred, not required.
